These terms apply when you visit this website or buy from Dashwise. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these terms.
Your order is confirmed when you receive our confirmation email.
We may refuse or cancel an order, for example because of a pricing error, a stock problem, or suspected fraud. If we cancel a paid order, we will refund you in full.
You pay at checkout using the payment methods shown there.
Prices are in US dollars. We may change prices and products at any time, but a change does not affect an order that has already been confirmed.
What it does: Dashwise reads engine and emissions codes on compatible vehicles: gas cars, SUVs, and light trucks built in 1996 or later, and diesel vehicles built in 2008 or later. It does not read ABS or airbag systems and is not intended for fully electric vehicles. Please check compatibility before ordering.
What a code means: A code points to the area where a problem was detected. It does not always identify the exact cause or the correct repair. Dashwise does not replace an inspection by a qualified mechanic.
Safety: Never use or look at the device while driving. Do not rely on it alone for repairs that affect your safety, such as brakes, steering, airbags, or fuel systems.
Clearing codes: Clearing codes also resets your car’s emissions readiness monitors. Your car may need to be driven for a period of time before it passes an emissions test.
Our Return and Refund Policy, Warranty, and Shipping Policy are part of these terms.
The Dashwise name, logo, text, images, and design belong to us. You may not copy or reuse them without our written permission.
Please do not misuse the site, attempt to access it without permission, or use it for anything unlawful.
Except for the warranty we provide in writing, the site and products are provided “as is.”
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product.
Some states do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer protection laws.
If you are in the United States, these terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
Any dispute is resolved by binding arbitration with the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, on an individual basis and not as a class action. Arbitration may take place remotely by videoconference. Fees are shared as set by the AAA rules. Claims concerning intellectual property infringement are not covered by this arbitration clause.
If you are outside the United States, applicable law and jurisdiction will be determined in accordance with applicable consumer protection and conflict-of-law rules.
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top indicates the latest version.
